Saraband is listing a family collection of rare, out-of-print and second hand books on Books & Collectibles at:
www.booksandcollectibles.com.au

Please note:
Saraband is not, and does not pretend to be a licensed second hand dealer. We do not buy books for resale, nor are we qualified valuers.

The books listed cover a diverse range of interests and disciplines. There are some very rare items, such as the 1828 publication of Thomas A Kempis book The Imitation of Christ (pictured right); some self-publications, dictionaries and grammars of the Motu language, and various others. There are a lot of childrens' annuals from the 30s, 40s and 50s and childrens' fiction in varying condition. Also, there's plenty of Australiana including some classics about Aboriginal peoples, and various books on Papua New Guinea and Polynesia. A large group of Victorian and Edwardian fiction books are listed (some by A.L.O.E. also pictured right). In between, you will find general non-fiction, books on thoroughbred horse breeding, sheep breeding, lots of historical football newsletters and magazines, adventure and travel, art, crafts, stage anecdotes, poetry, drama, novels, war memorabilia, early paperbacks and all sorts of oddities.

Postage costs extra, and books costing over $100 will be insured at the buyers expense to ensure a refund in case of loss. Books may also be sent registered post at your request. Saraband is located in Queensland, Australia. For books weighing over 500g, postage to other states is generally cheaper by Express Post. Saraband does ship overseas, using a discounted airmail freight service which is quicker than sea mail but slower than airmail. Normal airmail is also available. book02
