Articles
from the British
and American Viola da Gamba
Society Journals
The
following bibliography is an incomplete listing of the articles
from the journals of the Viola da Gamba Society of America (JVdGSA)
and the Viola da Gamba Society of Great Britain (Chelys). I have been
a member of these societies for many years, and compiled the listing
originally for my own use. Others have found it helpful, so I have decided
to list the contents on this page. The entries for the two journals
are interfiled. Sometimes titles have been shortened slightly, so you
should check the exact wording before using citations in dissertations
and articles.
Print copies of Chelys have now ceased. The electronic equivalent has not been listed here.
